“You are faithful, and you can be trusted.” Psalm 57: 3b (CEV)
The storeowner handed me my purchase and said, “Satisfaction or your money back, guaranteed.” I hoped he really meant it. We are bombarded by phone calls with salespeople pressuring us and emails all promising that life will be filled with satisfaction if we take their offer.
God’s presence has His 100% guarantee. He will journey with us in every situation and phase of our life. Without God, we can easily be dissatisfied. Sadly, there are family feuds, friends estranged, a business partner’s greed, and marriage breakups. I was one of those stats and I can say without a doubt that God is 100% faithful in all circumstances.
He is the only one who can satisfy our souls. Look at His promises:
- He refreshes our life (Psalm 23:2)
- He carries us (Psalm 28:9)
- He forgives (Psalm 32: 1)
- He gives us good things to enjoy (Psalm 35:10)
- He gives us hope (Psalm 34:18)
- He is trustworthy (Psalm 33:4)
- He pulls us from the pit (Psalm 40:1)
- He listens (Psalm 118:5)
These are only from a few verses from the Psalms so think of the other 65 books to gleam from! I can say without a doubt, God satisfies the soul. He is the true deal. The amazing thing is that He wants to invest in our lives. People try and convince us of their satisfaction guarantee, but God is the One who truly follows through.
Thank you God of Heaven, for your 100% guarantee of inner satisfaction. We are grateful for your desire to invest in our lives and help us in our journey. When life is spinning around us and pressuring us with false guarantees, guide us to see Your true promises. We praise You for wanting to invest in us. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
