“I will proclaim the name of the Lord. Oh, praise the greatness of our God! He is the Rock, His works are perfect, and all His ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is He.” Deuteronomy 32:3-4

There is so much injustice in the world. We certainly can all testify to have experienced a measure of it in our personal lives: in our family relationships, workplace, or school. Unless we look to God as the ultimate judge, we will be left with feelings of despair. We will be incapable of being able to move forward amidst such wrongdoings.

In his wondrous song, Moses declared, “A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is He.” Think about that for a while. The fact that God is just can provide you with peace when you are witnessing painful injustice. You can have the confidence that God’s justice will ultimately prevail, and that evil will be dealt with one day.

When we trust and have faith that our God is just, we will be able have peace in times that the enemy comes. While Satan tries to destroy, God lifts us up and sets our feet upon the Rock — Jesus, our peace.

So be encouraged with these truths: God sees and knows everything, and in all things God works for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28).

Father God, Thank You for Your justice. Thank You that I can trust You with life’s circumstances, and that Your ways are so much higher than mine! Thank You that You know all things and will work everything for my good. Help me to trust You more. Amen.

Take Action

We all have areas in our lives where we need to trust God more. If there is a circumstance or a situation in your life that has brought you deep pain or hurt because of injustice, ask God to give you His peace. He longs to enter into your hurtful situation and reveal Himself to you as a God of justice.
