The next time you get overwhelmed by sharing your faith, think about how you’ve been transformed by Christ.
Consider the story of the Samaritan woman in John 4. Jesus met her and talked with her while she was drawing water from a well. Through her encounter with the living God, she was transformed. And she was the very first evangelist — she couldn’t help telling people about Jesus!
We all have a story to tell — we were once dead, and now we live!
Jesus has entered your life and has renewed your spirit. Now go, share of the good things He has done! Other people need to hear about it!
Dear God, help us to remember how incredible it is that You live inside us! Renew our hearts, and prepare us as we get ready to talk about what You’ve done in our lives. Help us look for opportunities to share our own personal stories of transformation to our friends and family. Give us strength and wisdom and grace and compassion in these conversations. Thank You for Your sacrifice and for Your love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
