When you go to buy a Bible, you’ll find various translations. The King James Version uses "thee" and "thou" which is a bit slow to read (unless you’re someone who speeds through Shakespeare).

The Bible is made up of many different books, and each book is divided into chapters and broken down into verses. For instance, in order to look up John 3:16, you’ll first have to look for the right book (John), then go to the third chapter (3) and find the 16th verse (16). In this case, you’ll find one of the most famous verses of all:

“For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

The Bible, can be a little intimidating. It’s a really big book and it was literally written back in ancient times. But it is so worth the read! It’s vital to maintaining and growing in your relationship with God.
