We are what we listen to. Or, rather, we become who and what we listen to.

This is true in many ways. The voices around us, especially those we hear and read in the news and on social media, are voices we often trust to speak truth into our lives.

These "truths" may not be the most reliable. And not only that, but it is important that we guard our hearts from allowing the media to shape our hearts and our thinking more than we allow the Spirit and his Word to do so. In the midst of fear, worry, and anxiety, on what truth can we rely, then?

Our team has created a playlist of songs — in both English and Frenchthat are filled with comforting truths in times of worry.

These songs have been carefully chosen and have personally helped us stay grounded and firm in the Truth in times when it's difficult to trust God and see his sovereignty. You can listen to our "Comforting Truths" playlist for free on Spotify or on Youtube.

Aussi, on peut écouter notre liste d'écoute française qui est disponible sur YouTube.

What truths do you listen to to combat worry and fear? Let us know in the discussion form below.

We want this to be a collective, collaborative playlist.

Another great resource would be the playlist Brett McCracken created just like this.

Colossians 3:1-4 says, "Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory."

Let this be our hope and, by God's grace and his Spirit, may we do all we can to allow the Truth to shape our hearts for his glory and our good.

So, brothers and sisters, let us not fear for our God is with us, and he will strengthen, help and uphold us in his righteousness (Isaiah 41:10).
